Thyristors - Power Controller

Volta thyristors and power controllers can be ordered directly with Volta air heaters and heating elements. We define the right type and equipment for you.

Volta has direct stock availability for a large number of power controller models. Special designs with, for example, other voltage ranges are also possible.

Thyristors enable the operation of an ohmic resistor or electric air heater or heating element with a lower output via pulse width modulation. With variable air volumes, the heating capacity can be reduced proportionally to the reduction of the air volume.

In most cases, it is installed in the customer's control cabinet. In the Volta controls product area, the power controllers are integrated in Volta control cabinets and ensure the desired function with the necessary other components.
